Just wanna say thank you from me and my travelling team. New Zealand was tremendously beautiful. Too bad we don't have the time to travel the North Island. I personally would like to go in near future. The car was excellent, low cost and no 'down time', thank god! By looking at your highways, it would be scary if there was anything happen on our way, as there was only three of us and we know nothing about cars! All in all, it was fun, and scenic, and refreshing to be able to drive with one of your car. Definitely my first choice of rental car if i ever come to NZ again.

Our first rental, Agreement # B-AKL-122531, was a late pickup, the second, the campervan, was Agreement # B-AKL-122533. Because the late pickup was un-manned, there was some confusion as to how we could use our senior discount for these rentals. As I am 71, Katherine of your Christchurch office gave us your email address and encouraged us to ask for your assistnace in obtaining this discount - I still have a printed copy of the senior discount voucher from the time we arranged for the rentals. What could ezy do to improve services in the future? Very little. I felt that Ezy's customer service was much more helpful and personable than that of Maui, Britz or Backpackers. During the course of our travels we met people who had hired vans from other firms and were able to compare vans.
I always felt we had had a much better deal with Ezy both financially and in the quality of the van and customer service. I intend to return to NZ in the next couple of years and will not hesitate to rent a vehicle from Ezy again.
Perhaps Ezy could mention on their website that it is cheaper to rent in Christchurch and drop off in Auckland. i don't think people are generally aware of this before booking their flights.

I was very impressed with their service, I lost a hubcap, thow they are wire tied on this one didnt seem to be, and I couldnt find it, but it only cost me ten dollars to replace, instead of replacing the whole lot, I was impressed that Ezy didnt try to make money out of me in this respect.
I loved the little car I hired and I would definitley use you guys again, thow the cost is a little more than I was looking for, I was told that I would get better rates the more I used you, so in that case I am looking forward to seeing what the rates will be like when I next hire a car from you guys.

Congratulations to the staff at Christchurch Airport branch, a smooth and trouble free transaction.
The car ran well, pick up and drop off to airport were quick and easy.
We had a great holiday, will defiantly call again for our next holiday in NZ but will rent a camper van.

One point that is nothing to do with your company but may improve your clients NZ experience, perhaps you could warn them that NZ police use undercover vehicles for speed cameras and from our observations target the tourist routes predominantly.

It is all to easy coming from a congested country with fixed speed cameras and marked police cars to drift above the speed limit on your free and open roads, only to find an undercover vehicle sitting on the side of the road in an area that obviously does not have a road safety problem.

We would like to finally give you feedback from our service in Auckland. We have been on a ship since our rental.

Your staff was very professional - we had a misunderstanding between the Information people at the port and yr office relative to an automatic car - yr supervisor handled everything very efficiently and provided us with an automatic car.

Secondly, we would like to commend yr people for retrieving our video camera which we left on the counter during our rework of the contracts. We return to the leasing location within an hour of our departure and the staff had our equipment in safekeeping. We cannot express how thankful we were for their attention to this matter.

am grateful that Ezy came to my rescue when I needed it most. I came to New Zealand with no travel plans. I called four companys and asked for a camper at the last moment. They all gave me the same comment, "sorry no vehicle available".
When I called Ezy I got an affirmative response and got a vehicle to drive for two months. For that I am eternally grateful.

I did fill in the reply form. You probably have it by now. I can only re-state my comments. Your friendly and helpful team and the superb condition and fitout of the great little camper I had absolutely made my holiday as awesome as it was. I had the best holiday I have ever had. I took that campa to Mt Cook, Milford Sound, the glaciers, from one end to the other and from side to side of the South Island. It never missed a beat. I believe I clocked up about 3600 km in the 11 days I had it.

I teach and instruct on customer service and retail management for a living. I could not help but be impressed by your great organisation.
I will be coming back to do a similar trip around the North Island and wouldn't think of going to anyone else.

Last year we rented for 29 days and only had a minor matter of replacement tyres dealt with in Auckland very quickly.

This year we rented for 35 days and it was perfect all the time. Your staff are very friendly and helpful. The car was very clean and ready on time. We were impressed with the high standard of preparation you put into it.

I was impressed to find later that my initial and very helpful contact had been with Tim the Director - great to see such a "hands on" approach at all levels.

What could ezy do to improve services in the future? Internet and and freecall telephone booking, freecall service and airport pickup are all great features, especially combined with friendly and helpful staff and competitive rates. Keep all this up and I'll certainly be back.

Would you use ezy again and recommend us to others? Yes
I would strongly consider using EZY again and have already recommended you to several other people I met on my trip and will continue to recommend you now that I'm home.

Thanks for the email. We are glad we chose your company after spending some time on the net looking for the best deal. Having been to NZ 3 times previously and using cheaper car hire firms on the North Island with no problems, we thought that your offer of $32 per day for the Accent was too good to refuse. It worked out well as the car, although 6 years old, went well and did not let us down once. A brand new car would have been no better. Your office and service are very professional which is not always the case with cheaper car rentals. We saw so many of your cars and campers on our trip through the South Island - business must be good.

Thank you for your email. We arrived safely back in Australia. Our visit to New Zealand was absolutely wonderful. We just wish we could have stayed longer. The guys as Ezy Rentals were extremely helpful and the service was fantastic. We felt the service was very prompt, considering we actually arrived an hour early and still only had to wait a few minutes to have a clean and tidy car ready for us. The Courtesy Bus from the airport was also much appreciated. The Ezy book supplied to us was invaluable in that it not only helped us find our way but allowed us to plan ahead and book accommodation as we went. Thank you to everyone at Ezy and we would certainly use your services again in the future.

I travel in a station wagon with my two daughters from Christchurch to Lake Tekapo, Mont Cook, Wanaka, Lake Manapouri, the Catlins and Otago Peninsula… Drive in this country gives liberty: you love this place, you can stay there; it’s raining, you can go. It’s easy to bring a lot of luggage, to picnic... The roads are OK. Landscapes are sumptuous, you drive along yellow fields and then snowed mounts appear, it’s magic. You drive along blue lakes, or along ocean, you stop where you want. It’s easy! I enjoyed my holiday and we will come back !

My friend and I had a great time in New Zealand! Having our own car made it so much easier to get around and to see a lot more of the country. We relaxed in hot springs near Paihia, went cave-rafting in Waitomo, saw (and smelled) Rotorua, saw magnificent scenery on the south island, and heaps more. From Christchurch to Arthur's Pass and on to route 6 down the West coast to Haast, Wanaka, Queenstown, Te Anau and Milford Sound. 200 stops to take in the stunning scenery and numerous overnights in campervan sites.
